I would highly recommend Simplicity Cremation. Tom treated my family with compassion and kindness. He made the experience quick and easy. Thank you very much for your help during this very tough time for me and my family. You were wonderful.

Simplicity Cremation helped my family 2 years ago when my uncle passed away, and Tom Allen was wonderful. When my uncle passed here in Maryland, his ashes were to go to his sister in California (my aunt)... So we thought it would be difficult between the two of us to get everything taken care of since she wasn't here and I was here but was not next of kin. Tom Allen worked with us and made everything all better. Not only did Tom make all of the logistics work (and at a very reasonable cost), but he also helped us with our stress... this is hard to explain but his voice and his personality are very comforting.

I went to today to fill out the paper work and discuss the cremation for my 15 week old fetus. When we went to see the body and tag as they call it I was in total discuss. My baby was in a plastic clear bucket like a ice cream container. I left crying my eyes out from what I saw my poor baby laying in. There was no cloth or anything. Just my baby laying stuck to the side of the bucket. After viewing my child we were escorted back to the door. Not 1 time they they discuss what my sons ashes would be put into. I saw a display case of things that my sons ashes could have been put into and Mr Tom never once discussed anything to us. I so heart broken over this all situation and this made everything so much worse. I thought my son would have been in good hands and taken care of like I was told on the phone. I feel there could have been a better little container to put my child in and made him look comfortable with a little cloth under him and like a tiny blanlet on him. I would have payed the extra money to have my son in a better container that fits his tiny body in . I have seen tiny burial containers online that I would have loved to see my son layed in for my last time seeing him in my life. I hope for future parents that simplicity cremation would put more care and love into something like I'm talking about for other baby's born like mine.

Just last month my father passed away and I was relieved to know that I could call Tom again and that it would be one thing I did not have to lose my mind over. I called Tom and was instantly reminded of how comforting he is during the hard time of losing a loved one. Unfortunately, Simplicity Cremation did not have a license in Washington DC where my father was, but Tom was able to recommend me to a friend/colleague of his. Tom's recommendation was spot on and I was happy with them as well. Tom also had very valuable information for me regarding the eventual burying of my dad's ashes when I am ready. He informed me of cemeteries and programs for veterans that I am looking into for my dad. Tom spent a lot of time helping me, even when he knew that he had no financial gain from me. He is very kind and his assistance is priceless.

I highly recommend Simplicity Cremation & Services. I worked with Alex and she kept me informed throughout this whole process. They went above and beyond to assist me during this very difficult time. They're affordable and their customer service is outstanding!!

It is never easy when a loved one passes. It's even harder when they are so young and did not have any final arrangements set up. We found Simplicity after calling multiple funeral homes and being crushed by the 2-3 thousand dollar quotes on just cremation. Your loved one that passed should have the right to be said goodbye to in a respectable manor. Simplicity was our saving grace. The price they charge is so reasonable and the staff is amazing. Alex walked with me through everything and was so kind during it. The owner Tom(sorry if this is the wrong first name) was so good to us the day we got to say good bye to our sister. Her body looked beautiful and the room and time they allow you with your loved one was everything we needed. I would recommend Simplicity to everyone. Thank you to the owner and staff you truly were a God sent to my family and we will forever be grateful.
