One of the worse emergency rooms in the world and I have traveled around the world. Wait time extremely long. On the patients record it indicated that the patient was deaf. Attendant called out the patients name vice walking over to the patient. Doctor was rude as if he never had Work with deaf individuals. Doctor recommend and IV. As I set Here for one hour waiting for the IV to get started this begins our sixth hour in the emergency room. At the end of this poor service they will still charge you the five star service fee. Attendant has now arrived was polite and was sorry for the long wait. I suspect we will get out of here in eight hours. To be fair the intake staff was very quick and professional. After the intake it’s all down hill. Not good!! One last note the chairs are not good for long periods of sitting. Bottom line they did resolve the issue I am going to raise It one star.
Half the staff are pleasant, but the other half are rude. The rude half, seem to hate working there, and when they leave their shifts to come and eat and drink at my work place, they always talk badly and laugh at patients they had to treat for the day. I find some of your staff to be very unprofessional. Have I mentioned rude?
I had a great experience with this hospital. The lady checking me in was kind of rude but the nurses and doctors were amazing and I am thankful for the team I had the night i went in because I ended up having emergency surgery on my back. I understand people are complaining of the wait time but when it is a true emergency there is barely any wait time.
Holly and Brandy are the best nurses ever. I felt like i was taken care of by family. This has been a great experience for a hospital visit.
I went in with a 105° fever at about 5 in the morning. It was a low traffic period, but I am still impressed with how quickly they got me in and IV fluids started (especially with the reviews here) as soon as I got in a bed (maybe 20 min max reception to triage to bed). On top of that, it was the end of the night shift so I was prepared for anything since working the night shift sucks, I wasn't traumatic (although very acute), and the nurses and doctor need to finish their paperwork which sucks, but is the reality of US healthcare nowadays. I was expecting decent care, but they went above and beyond according to my feverish brain. They didn't give me a blanket, but the nurse explained it was to help my body cool down from such a high fever. She did give me a sheet which helped the chills. The nurses were way ahead of the doc (getting my chest x-rays done sooner rather than later for the doc to diagnose my pneumonia) which demonstrates how well they work together. The doctor didn't let the end of his shift impact his bedside manner, management of my care, and accurate diagnosis of my health issue at all. He was the most attentive doctor I've seen in long while. Overall 5 stars for taking care of me so well.
