The office is way to Hot! The security woman is openly ridiculing people who walk in. I cannot believe this!! Also, the wait is 2-hrs. It feels like He'll in here!
I would give a zero. After having an appt for filing for benefits, I tried to follow up via phone to check on the status of my claim. I called the person who took the claim in the office for 2 weeks leaving messages to return call. Then asked for a supervisor.Left her 3 messages to which no one called me. Finally spoke to someone today. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with. And this is the GOVERNMENT.
All my transactions with SS over the phone and in the Glen Burnie office have been very professional and expeditious. Thanks to all.
12/17/17-Further to the above, I would like to add that when I went to the SS office on Park Avenue in Baltimore City, I was told that their system didnt show anything put in from Glen Burnie, what happened to my original application?
I am now waiting for it to be processed. THANK YOU PARK AVENUE, I WILL NEVER GO TO GLEN BURNIE AGAIN!!
Called national number for appointment at this office. First available was almost two months in the future. Wow.
As you would expect, the wait times can be quite lengthy and the security guard at the door can be abrupt. But once you get to talk to someone, I've found them to be helpful and kind. They take the time you need to help you and are generally quite pleasant to work with.
