I really have some serious doubts now...
They lost my package with 50 yards of sewing snap tape from Hong Kong. Who would need this anyway???? They said they delivered and left this package at my door, but I was home, and I have never received the delivery notice. So my package is gone. I hope, whoever has my 50 yards of sewing snap tape is happy now.
I have the worst delivery service from this post office. I get my neighbors mail and then never get whatever should have been delivered to me. Letters left for outgoing mail do not get delivered, I've had to re-write checks 2 times and take them to Lake Shore Post Office.
Few months before I handed a parcel to them... unfortunately it was supposed to be handed to UPS...i went back to enquire about it... they said UPS picks mail.from them..so they might have picked it...so sad...it has reached nowhere???
Lady at counter was awesome. i wish i got her name. my package got turned over to usps by fedex and was suppose to be in friday but i noticed tracking said it was at facility. i went to facility around 3 had a short line and told her my scenario. she took my id walked back and came back 5 min later with my package. i couldn't thank her enough.
Terrible experience. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. My wife and I went in on a Saturday to update her passport (recently married) and the website said they are open for passport services on Saturday, and nothing about making an appointment. When we get through the line, the lady asked us if we had an appointment and proceeded to just look at us when we said no, we didn't know we had to make one. She then said she would see if they could squeeze us in, but highly doubted it in a very disapproving tone. When she came back she mumbled something about the appointment and said something about another location and quickly called for the next customer. When we asked her what she said, she wouldn't even look at us and mumbled something before calling for the next customer again. We were able to find another location (not USPS!) that had passport services. We definitely won't be returning to this post office. This visit continues the lackluster reputation of the USPS after they lost a bunch of our RSVPs for our wedding. Glad to know my tax dollars aren't being squandered...
Last month I sent two letters to NY, from this post office...its more than a month... it did not reach the destination...
