I had my PRK surgery done on May 5th, 2017 by Dr. Spagnolo. I am going in today for my 3 month checkup. I have had a wonderful experience, I love my new eeyes everything feels HD. I recommend anyone who has though on having corrective I surgery to go to Baltimore Washington Eye Center, they will walk you through every step for what is the best option for you. Dr. Spagnolo and his team will take great care of you. Every step of the procedure will be explained, when following these steps you will have no problems with you eyes no discomfort at all. And if you do have problem you can get assistance anytime day or night. Dr. Spagnolo even calls you personally after you procedure just to see how your doing and make sure everything is okay
I've been very pleased by the communication of Stacy and Chris. They went above and beyond to make sure my issues were handled. I'm still disappointed in the outcome of my last visit, but they've assured me this mistake won't happen again in the office.
( I was still knocked out from the medication but he did leave a lovely message and checked on my again later in the day). I have been going the Baltimore Washington Eye center for years when I wore glasses and contact and I recommend all to go as well, it's a pleasant frendly environment and you will leave seeing clearly.
I had an appointment earlier this month and picked out a different pair of glasses. The young man helping me seemed to be annoyed I wasn't ready to make a decision and was hovering. I even came to my appointment early so I wouldn't feel rushed into a decision. I chose my frames and had a very pleasant appointment. It has now been over 2 weeks since that appointment and I haven't heard anything about the status of my glasses, so I called. The young lady that helped me on the phone was very apologetic and explained that my order was never placed, my frame choices never noted in my file, and there was nothing they could do about it. I am beyond annoyed at the incompetence of the staff that was responsible for this mistake.

Every one of the staff that I observed was very positive, with a smile and great customer relations. Not a sour face observed. All were very helpful.
I just wanted to say thank you to the hard working staff at B/W Eye Center. Especially Victoria who went over and beyond the call of duty to help me with getting a proper doctor's note for my work that did not seem to approve anything the staff repeatedly kept sending to them. Again, thank you so much for helping in this very difficult situation. As always, I think the staff has always been great and I love Dr. Strier.
I have been going to BWeye for several years and I have not always been happy with the 1st person I have speak with. The doctor is great and the others who prep you before seeing the doctor are great as well but the person who setups appointments and is behind the greeting desk is not very professional. I have had the same experience in the past 3 years. Be prepared. I informed them of this at last years appointment of how the person behind the desk is rude. Today I made an appointment and again I was greeted over the phone with rudeness. The person(Cathy) on the phone tries to hide it but it still comes through. I almost hung up to call a different place to make an appointment but didn't. I also had a problem with billing last year where I had something they said wasn't covered and told them twice to bill my eye insurance since they billed my BCBS for this visit. The second time they must had took care of it because I didn't heard back. I will probably get a response from BWEYE about this to contact them but I will be letting them know of how I felt I was not getting the best customer service over my call I had to make the appointment. Cathy didn't sound like she wanted to make this appointment for me.
