Literally the FIRST PERSON I've ever encountered at a drive thru in my 34 years of life. My son was being slow figuring out what he wanted when we pulled up to the window, so when she said welcome to checked and asked what I'd have I said nicely to please hold on just a second. In only about 15 seconds he decided what he wanted and I politely said ok I'm ready, and this nasty girl says"so am I". Not ok go ahead or anything politely like the countless other places I've been. After we're done ordering she says to pull around to wait for our food and I said ok is there any certain spot to park and she just looks at me with a very dirty look and points at the parking lot and says "over there", like I'm not aware that she wants me to park in the parking lot. All I wanted to know was if there was a specific spot that she wanted me to wait. To top it all off, they didn't get the order right and didn't want to fix it. The rudeness I dealt with here was unreal, I'll never come here again. Worst service ever.
Both of my recent orders also included burger patties that were on the dry side. The chicken and fries we ordered were great, pipping hot, well seasoned and crispy. But the burgers were dry and lukewarm. It was disappointing both times.
Overall, if I have to choose between Checkers and the McDonald's or Wendy's next door, then I'll choose one of the others each time.
Wendy's is faster, tastes much better and isn't much more expensive. McDonald's is cheaper, faster, and the burgers are about the same, sometimes McDonald's burgers are better.
Love there menu. The food is always HOT!! They have better food than McDonald's or Wendy's...
Only giving the young lady in the store 5 stars. With cars in the drive thru and people standing at the window. She was the ONLY one in there making food, taking orders and running the cash register. Checkers you have to do better!! Great job young lady.
I've had two recent trips through their drive thru and ended up being sucked at how slowly they prepared the food. Both times waiting well in excess of five minutes after paying. And that's after waiting for the car in front of me to leave. I just don't understand the long delay,
I've had better experiences at the Checkers at 648 and 170, it seems this in just needs to step up it's game.
This checkers used to be good. But lately they've been bad. The past 3 times i've went the food has been undercooked and they've gotten the order wrong
